Making Up For Lunch

Hola Sweets,

How did every body's Tuesday go? Mine went pretty well. I had one of those outfit days where I discovered a new combo. I had purchased this silk shirt from Ann Taylor a while back. It was one of those items that makes a girl feel frumpy. It is a nice shirt, but I always feel ugly when I wear it. Do you know what I mean Sweets? This usually happens to me in Banana Republic sweaters. But somehow the shirt worked today!


Please ignore my messy room and Mitt the Cat. The jeans are J Crew and so is my awesome new bracelet!


I didn't make the best choice at lunch (Pei Wei's Coconut Curry Chicken) so I felt the need to do a massive workout after work. HM went over to our new neighbor's house to play some strategy game so I headed on over to 24 Hour Fitness. I spent 20 minutes on the treadmill watching old Biggest Loser episodes. Next I spent 10 minutes on the elliptical. I was still feeling guilty from Pei Wei so I stayed for the Boot Camp class.



The class was great, but nothing like BifG! I was actually one of the strongest/fastest  people in the class so I felt stoked. We did a lot of team work and partner stuff. One partner had to squat against the wall while the other one had to lunge across the room and back. It was stressful/motivating because I didn't want to make my partner to sit there for too long!

When I got home, I needed something healthy but light. I decided fire up the 'ol juicer and blast out some yummy juice.

I used a handful of kale, 2 large apples, and 2 stalks of celery. It didn't look too appetizing, but it was great. I love celery because it makes the juice taste fresh. Would you drink this?
