I was some how able to pack a lot and yet absolutely nothing into my weekend. I am very excited to be entering TAPER WEEK! Wooo whoooooo!!! The 12 mile run the weekend before last reminded me too much of the actual race. I need some time to let my muscles recover and my mind to forget. Going into race day, it is nice to be a little ignorant as to what is waiting for you. This weekend's run was supposed to be 6 miles, but my knee has been bothering me so I wanted to take it slow. I shortened it to 5 miles (in order to convince HM to join me) and took it very easy.

The rest of my weekend was spent relaxing. HM and I are reading 1Q84 together and he was nice enough to download a copy for me and lend me his Kindle. I LOVE IT!

Plan on a lot of posts about old lady style workouts for the rest of the week. I will also let you know what I will be wearing on race day....once I decide.
