I am a genius, but before I go into that let me go over my Sunday morning. HM and made it to the gym in time for the Yoga Stretch class. By suggestion of HM's massage therapist, he is going to start stretching...and me?....I am always down for a party! HM and I developed a fun little game called Tofu or Turkey to help us stay "focused" during yoga. It may not be appropriate to explain the specifics on this blog.....but I will say, there were two tofu girls in the front row and one turkey girl behind HM. Guesses anyone? Can you tell the difference between real and fake....turkey?
After yoga I squeezed in my 60 minutes of cardio (current workout score 7/8). We then stopped at the house and loaded the doodle and snowshoes into the car and headed up the canyon.
We had a fun little jaunt going off trail where poodles can roam free. Next it was off to Costco where we restocked a few staples. As terribly crowded and annoying as we find Costco, HM and I didn't bicker at all. Woo hoo! Another Costco success!
|See? Look how not cranky HM is?|
All HM has to do is take a meal/bag out of the freezer and pop it into the slow cooker around noon and it will be ready by dinner time. Easy peasy. I made a taco soup (with ground bison), massaman chicken curry, and something HM and I dubbed 'Chicken Peanut Surprise'. I pulled all of these recipes out of my imagination so I will share the details with you Sweets after I actually have a chance to try them.
Has anyone ever tried something like this before? How did it go?
