So I think everyone has a rational side and an emotional side to them and currently my two sides are at war. I had a weigh in at BifG Friday, and well, I am frustrated. I gained. Now, I only gained one pound but still, I have been working my biscuits off!
This is the emotional side of me:
The rational side is saying:
Yeah, okay, I get it. Muscle weighs more than fat and blah blah blah, Namaste. That does not mean a higher number on the scale is a welcome thing. That is especially true after I have been working out so hard. Having said that, I know I have toned up when I look in the mirror so I am benefiting.
In reflection, there are some things I could do better:
- I have not been tracking my food (awesome start for a new year's resolution, I know)
- I miss about 1 cardio workout a week (I am supposed to do 4 and I have been doing 3)
- Be encourage by overall progress (lower fat % is great, it is not all about lbs)
