I am so sorry to leave you hanging this weekend. I was just too busy having so much fun! Here is a little recap of what I was up to this weekend.
The weekend kicked off with a lovely date at Market Street. This is a local Utah restaurant with a few locations. Although we go to Market Street often, this was our first time at this specific location, which is funny because it is the one closest to our house.
We started out the day early by heading up to Park City for our long run. Schedule=10 miles. Reality=4 miles. I don't know what happened to me but I just couldn't do it. It was depressing because this was supposed to be the longest run on our schedule and there is only one more long run (of only 5 miles) before our race.
I only made it 4 miles. HM ran ahead and finished 6 miles before circling back and catching me on the side of the trail just taking pictures. Busted.
Later on that evening, we celebrated a friends 30th birthday by having a camp out. The good thing about living in the mountains....you can sneak back to your own bed in less than 20 minutes. All the peeps that slept out in the woods have been accounted for and no one was eaten by a bear or moose. What is it with my friends and their crazy birthdays! Who read my first ever post?
I probably have the best husband ever because he enjoys going with me when I go dress shopping. He likes when I try on different dresses and enjoys voting for his favorites. This may be called Romantic or Perverted....whatever. We went up to Park City to hit up my favorite dress shop- BCBG Outlet!!!!! Sadly for HM, I ended up getting a dress that he gave a low vote. VISION HM, YOU HAVE TO HAVE VISION. After that, we headed over to a pizza joint called Maxwells. We sat on the patio, had a couple of beers, and split a pizza the size of Mars.
I ended the weekend relaxing and reading more of my book club book- One Day. I like it and I plan on watching the movie as soon as I am finished.
Sweets, what is your favorite way to spend a weekend? Read any good books lately? I love reading and am always looking for suggestions!
