Ready For The Apocalypse

Good Afternoon Sweets,

Woooo weeeeee did HM and I stock up. We were feeling deeply in love yesterday so we knew that our relationship could withstand the ultimate strain......Costco. As you may recall from this post, I consider Costco to be hell and it is were otherwise happy couples go to fight. HM and I are smart though, we always have a game to keep us distracted from how terrible that place is. Yesterday's game was CROPS & WEDGES. Not as creative as CROCS and SOCKS, but fun just the same. I won.

Why do we put our relationship through all that? Duh, for the delicious bounty! Dear Apocalypse, if you are planning on coming during my lifetime, please make it now because I have a lot of food supplies. Thank you. Checkout what we ended up with:

I love cooking dinner after a major restock. I feel all sorts of creative. Last night, I made spinach pepper, and shallot stuffed portobella mushrooms (rubbed with crushed garlic and dusted with flax) on a bed of turkey bolognese. Low carb and DELICIOUS. I could tell by the look in HM's eyes that he thought he had snagged the best wife EVER. Shhhhhhhhh!

We may go to sushi tonight, but the next meal I plan on cooking is going to be a grilled turkey loin accompanied by skewered and grilled figs oozing with goat cheese. If it turns out even half as good as I think it will, HM might be inspired enough to get me that watch I have been wanting.....you know, the one of my wishlist, 2nd from the top?
I ate so much yesterday that I had to do another workout before bed. I did a speed workout on the treadmill:

1 mile warmup (5.5 pace)
0.5 mile speed (6.7 pace)
walk break (3 minutes)
0.5 mile speed (6.9 pace)
walk break (3 minutes)
0.5 mile speed (7.1 pace)
walk break (3 minutes)
1 mile cool down (5.5 pace)

and then after gorging myself on dinner and entering the damage into my Lose It app, I headed back to the gym late night and did 45 minutes on the stair climber (fat burner level 7).

Okay sweets, I'd love to stay and chat some more.....but I have to go layout by the pool. Got to go out in style if the apocalypse in near. Mugghh hahahahah.
