Life Elevated

Hello Sweets,

I hope you all enjoyed Buckley's guest post this weekend. He was very excited to be able to contribute to the blog while I was away in Colorado. It was a great weekend, but I am glad to be back. It was a lot of driving....but the scenery was amazing!

That would be at 12,000 feet elevation dear sweets!

The wedding took place on the top of Crested Butte, in Colorado. The happy couple was disgustingly adorable:

"Out of our way peasants!"

Even Kate Middleton would have been jealous! The reception was, true to the couple, adorable too. We were served the meal in picnic baskets. We dinned outside of a cabin with a bird's eye view of the valley below.

During all the festivities of the weekend, HM and I still tried to get our exercise in....but it was not meant to be.

Yes, that IS a storm cloud above HM's head

Further complicating the matter, was the fact that we were trying to run well above 10,000 feet in elevation. We live at about 4900 feet and now I am more empathetic to my out of town friends and their plight to breath during our hikes together. Even though we had 7 miles on our schedule, we made it two miles before calling it quits. Instead, we just took pictures for this blog.
Wind, rain, hail, lightening, and elevation? No thanks.

Any of you sweets live at a high elevation? Have you ever noticed an issue during a destination race or out of town workout?
