Good afternoon sweets,
Did you know that lasers and marathons end at the same place? Oh you didn't? I will explain. I have never done a full marathon, but this is how my half marathons generally go:
Mile 1: Bobbing and weaving the scrapbook clubs who decide to speed walk a race and the mile is over before I know it.
Mile 2: Bobbing and weaving the dudes who sprinted from the start and are now dry heaving from the exertion and the mile is over before I know it.
Mile 3-11: Found a good pace to settle into and the crowds have thinned. Feeling like I am queen of the world and that I could TOTALLY do a full marathon-piece of cake.
Mile 12-13.1: Running is stupid. This hurts. What's the point. I am NEVER doing another one of these ever again. MARK MY WORDS!
Upon Reflection: That was such a good day. I love the feeling of accomplishment. The pictures are super cute. SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!! It didn't really hurt that bad. This is about when I sign up for my next race.
Now how in the world is a race the same as a laser? Well it is. I am in the process of having hair laser removal on my legs and under arms. (Anything to reduce maintenance time!) You think it is a good idea going into it:
But then you are invited to a last minute pool party. What? Yes my stems are hairless. Thanks for noticing. SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!! It didn't really hurt that bad. This is about when I schedule my next appointment.
