Good evening sweets,
I hope you all had a nice day. Here is Salt Lake City, we had one of those odd weather days. The kind where it rains while the sun is shining with thunder and lighting mixed in. Luckily I got my run out early this morning while the sun was shinning and there were no clouds in sight. HM and I were able to enjoy a nice lunch together at our new favorite restaurant Yellow Tail. This place is so close to our house and we have driven by a million times and only recently stopped in to eat.
We have been two times this week and have yet to figure out how to order. The prices are less expensive than our previous sushi love so we just assumed the rolls and entrees were smaller. No. They. Are. Bigger. Both dinning experiences have left us a little stuffed. Maybe we should start walking there.....
The best part is that they may have the best patio dinning in Salt Lake. How did I not know this? It is a covered patio (excellent- lunch without a sunburn) and they have fans and heaters to help out mother nature. Oh, and guess what else sweets? It sits right up against a creek. The entire time you shovel food into your mouth, you get to hear the sound of water (one of my favorite sounds, like, ever).
You would never know that you are in the middle of the city and that there is a Petco on the other side of the creek.
I had big plans for cooking dinner, but I was still so full from lunch that I simply had this:
I can't wait until I go again.....oh and HM and I eat like old people so we can totally cash in on the $5 rolls available every night from 3pm-6pm. Score. For those of you sweets in UT, you have to try this place, even if you are not a sushi fan they have a HUGE menu. They should give me a coupon for this post...seriously.
