Good evening sweets,
I did something new tonight. I ran a one mile loop around my neighborhood with dog face. And you know what? It felt good! One mile is not normally a distance that I would run. I don't LOVE running and one mile seems like a distance that is not long enough count. Does that make sense to anyone? I did it for Buckley because he had not been out all day (for exercise). I have only recently started running with him (on leash as opposed to trail runs where he is off leash) and I have learned that the little bugger tires at about a mile and a half.
The one mile neighborhood jaunt went so well that I think I am going to make it a daily activity (on days we don't go for a longer hike). I am not counting it as my workout....more of like a sneak attack in addition to my regularly scheduled workouts. I am not sure if I should share this part, but I even ran under the influence. This is not illegal I checked with HM.
Well, now that I feel less clouded from dinner libations, I am going to go watch an episode of Gossip Girl at the gym while sweating it out on the stair climber.
